MEETING THE SPIRIT OF HORSE

An intervention from the Most High

As our paths are often guided by unforeseen events, 2025 proved to be a year of powerful transformation and divine redirection.

I had been working with Elk medicine as my primary offering in my workshops for over a decade, forging a deep connection with these beautiful, majestic beings, learning the nature of their hides and becoming deeply attuned to the vibration of their Medicine and offering.

Then came March, and Elk hides were no longer available. I was told it would be a couple of months before they came back in stock. Okay, so I canceled and rescheduled my workshops. Months went by. Now there were no hides available at all: no Deer, Buffalo, Red Stag, Horse, none. (I should add that I only source my hides from one supplier, as much trial and error taught me this is the only supplier with the integrity and quality that I require.)

I did not go into panic, scarcity, or fear, which had been my history, as this is my livelihood. This time I trusted the path with unwavering faith. I surrendered and remained still, clear, and open to what wanted to come through, deeply sensing there was something bigger in the works.

This situation gifted me more time and solitude at home. I must have passed the test, the deeper initiation of my Devotion to the Most High.

I started channeling more. Then the floodgate opened and the spirit of Horse came in, showing and teaching me so much. This is when the Cosmic Medicine Wheel anchored in. Building on the traditional Medicine Wheel that has held the foundation of my work. Horse holds one of the directions in this elevated offering, which also comes with Pegasus and Unicorn. A different story I will share another time.

Horse told me that they are essentially intergalactic beings who chose to incarnate on Earth to help humanity in both the physical and spiritual realms. As we know, they have worked alongside humankind throughout time, carrying us across continents, pulling our plows, and fertilizing our fields. They have been our friends and have helped us build railroads and infrastructure. Carrying messages and mail across planes, both in form and energy. They have allowed us to use them in war. They have pulled logs, boulders, carts, and carriages for us.

They are here to help us re-member, on every level and in every way. To support us into New Earth. On a spiritual level, they are the ally we need right now, as they will carry us through this spiritual battle against humanity’s sovereignty and accompany us through the gate so that we may be free.

I have been so humbled by these galactic beings. Their grace, majestic and powerful nature, both in the physical and spiritual realms, and their patience and gentleness with us are profound.

September arrived and finally some hides where available… but only Horse. The cosmic joke was on me. Of course it was time to switch, but I would never have considered the change had the Universe not arranged things the She it did.

I am now learning the nature of Horse hide more intimately, which is a process. As each animal species has different properties: the way and how much they stretch, where they form or don’t, their thickness in different parts, and how to work that into each drum and lacing. This is especially important for the workshops, as it is essential that the holes or lacing do not easily break during the birthing process, and that each drum remains impeccable once taken home and awakened seven days later.

I find these Horse drums to hold a deep, powerful, and almost mission-oriented resonance—a force to be reckoned with. It is with so much gratitude, humility and joy that I offer this new medicine.

That said, I will be working with and offering Horse primarily in my workshops moving forward.

Elk has become available again, if someone feels called to work with Elk instead, that offering still stands.

As far as custom orders and my Etsy shop, I also offer Deer, Red Stag, and Buffalo now that they are all back in stock. And for anyone returning to birth their second drum, any of these hides are available.

2025 was a nine year, calling for the completion of the cycle of primarily working with Elk medicine which carries the stamina to follow through, bringing us to the “other side” and clearing the way for new beginnings with Horse, as 2026 is a one year. Beginning anew, Horse gently guides us into the next elevated cycle of the Cosmic Medicine Wheel. I am so excited for this next leg of the journey, where all possibilities will be possible. Siwar Q’enti (Royal Hummingbird) in the North of the Medicine Wheel has been speaking about this for a eons, helping us believe, trust the unseen, and remain in our hearts. For the heart is the gateway.
